The Professional Development Committee is tasked with developing and planning education programs with speakers, presenters and panel discussions related to economic development, portfolio strategies, workplace trend and corporate real estate services.
One of the Professional Development Committee's major efforts includes the annual CRE Symposium which provides a concentrated day of learning with course offerings and a keynote speaker. Topics, speakers and presentations are reviewed and approved by this Committee with the Board, and many Committee members are volunteers on the day of the Symposium, which supports the sale of sponsorships, facilitates registration, markets the event, and plans the logistics. This spectacular day is greatly enhanced by the unparalleled networking with the corporate real estate professional community and is an exceptional opportunity to gain and share ideas.
Another major effort for this committee is to bring awareness and opportunities to achieving a Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR). The MCR is the globally recognized designation for corporate real estate professionals.
