In his current position, Ed is responsible for pro-actively developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans for a corporate real estate portfolio of approximately 1,100 facilities in the United States. Those facilities include quarries, ready-mix facilities, cement plants, timberlands and offices.

Prior to Cemex, Ed was Director of Real Estate for Rinker- which was then acquired by Cemex in 2007. His other experience includes working for private and public companies as a multi-disciplinary team member with a consistent focus on the economic impact of real estate on the bottom line.

Mr. Prins has a Masters of Urban Planning from City University of New York, a Bachelors of Architecture from City College of New York and a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from City College of New York.
He is a creative and financially driven Corporate Real Estate Executive with broad based global corporate real estate portfolio management experience. Ed is a proven leader with decision making ability to proactively identify and implement strategic plans that alight the need for real estate with business units and corporate goals.
