Houston has more giant job centers than any other region, all resulting from the massive highway expansions over the last 50 years. But many of these highways are at capacity during peak hours and often at other times. Is the solution to widen all of them, wiping up thousands of existing businesses, or is to figure out how to increase efficiency using transit and other recent innovations to get more people into system with less cars?

A panel of experts from three of Houston’s biggest job centers - the Central Business District, the Uptown District, and the Energy Corridor District will talk about what they’re doing right now to address this challenge, and what they see as happening in the future.

Moderator: David Crossley, President, Houston Tomorrow

Panelists:
Robert Eury, Executive Director of the Downtown District and President of Central Houston
John Breeding, President, Uptown Houston District
Clark Martinson, General Manager, Energy Corridor District
